Pony |
| The standing pony was not a mule, we don't have a photo of the pony but do have one of a Dentzel mule and this seemed like a good place to put it as these two animals were actually the closest of friends. Most of the other more elegant animals refused to associate themselves with the mule or the pony (save the pony's mother who spent much time with them both). This little pair went off on many treks together climbing some of the tallest peaks of mountain ranges in Europe, Asia and South America, the North American peaks were avoided as most of the more mature Dentzel animals were claiming those as their backyards. Although, be sure to visit Mule Peak and Pony Crag in Colorado, mule and pony secretly climbed these two natural monuments while the rest of the menagerie was touring Europe with an American showman. |
